A Single Raindrop.

    Have you ever sat outside during a rain storm? Maybe it's because I grew up outdoors a lot, but I love to sit and watch God's creation. The rain, the thunder, the lightening, they all show God's power. I love moments like these that make me feel tiny.
    The other night I was sitting outside with Ryan. Nothing new. We tend to sit under the porch late at night to talk. However, something wonderful happened on this particular night. We heard a drop... Then another drop... And another.... Soon, it was a full on rain storm. What is so amazing about that? I've never heard the first raindrop of a storm...ever. It isn't just that I heard the first raindrop, but what was so amazing through these tiny few splatters of rain was what God taught me.
This may have been a tiny drop of rain among the masses, but one of them had to be first. The first to pave the way for millions to follow.

Dwight Moody once said, “The world has yet to see what could be accomplished by one man, who was totally sold out to God.”

    What if you're that first raindrop? What if you're that one man or woman totally sold out to God? What are we waiting on? Get out there and pave the way for millions to hear the Word of God. This life is short compared to eternity--a blink of an eye--then it's over.
As the scriptures say:   

2 Peter 3:8-9 "But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance."
